SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s JX Nippon Oil and Energy is expected to restart its 85,000 tonne/year propylene-based isopropanol (IPA) facility in Kawasaki on 30 August, market sources said on Wednesday.

The company halted production at the IPA plant on 19 August following an unscheduled shutdown at its 460,000 tonne/year cracker at the same petrochemical complex.

The cracker is scheduled to resume operations on 29 August.
