SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Lanzhou Petrochemical plans to restart its 300,000 tonne/year linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE)/high density polyethylene (HDPE) swing plant in Gansu province on 12 September, a company source said on Thursday.
The producer shut the plant on 4 September because of a technical issue, the source added.
Local distributors said the supply of LLDPE may increase after the restart as Lanzhou Petrochemical is one of the major LLDPE producers.
Lanzhou Petrochemical is a subsidiary of Chinese state-owned oil giant PetroChina.
