LONDON (ICIS)--SK Capital will combine the textile chemicals, paper specialties and emulsions businesses it is acquiring from Clariant under a new integrated company named “Archroma”, the US-based investment firm said on Thursday.
SK confirmed that it expects to complete the acquisition on 30 September this year. The deal was announced in December 2012.
Archroma will have 25 global manufacturing facilities and about 3,000 employees. Its annual revenue will about $1.3bn (€975m).
Archroma will be led by Alexander Wessels as CEO, SK said. Wessels was previously CEO of DSM Pharmaceutical Products.
