MEDELLIN, Colombia (ICIS)--Mexico’s ICA Fluor has landed a contract with state-run energy giant Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) to build a gas compression system at the marine terminal at the port of Dos Bocas on the Gulf of Mexico, the industrial engineering company said on Friday.
Fluor’s share of the contract is valued at $54m (€40m), which the company will book in third quarter of this year,
“This project provides ICA Fluor with the opportunity of supporting Pemex in advancing the key goals set forth in their strategic plan, which includes modernisation of their gas transportation system to service increasing demand,” said
Construction is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2015, the company said.
