SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sichuan Yibin Plastic Packaging Materials Co Ltd plans to shut its 150,000 tonnes/year polyester plant in Sichuan province for regular maintenance from 26 September, a company source said on Monday.The plant at Yibin mainly produces bottle polyethylene terephthalate (PET) chips, the source said, adding that the shutdown duration has yet to be fixed.
The plant is currently running at 65% of capacity, the source said.
