S Korea's exports of PP down 3.94% at 101,342 tonnes in August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s exports of polypropylene (PP) fell by 3.94% year on year to 101,342 tonnes in August, data from Korea International Trade Association (KITA) showed on Wednesday.

In January-August this year, the country’s export of PP was up by 17.6% year on year at 789,740 tonnes, the KITA data showed.

The overall value of petrochemical exports rose by 12.1% year on year to $4.21bn (€3.1bn) in the first 20 days of August this year.
