LONDON (ICIS)--Foster Wheeler has won a three-year framework deal to provide services to Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Switzerland-based international energy and petrochemicals engineering firm said on Thursday.

Foster said that under the deal it will provide Borouge with a range of engineering and consultancy services, including studies and front-end engineering design (FEED), as well as engineering, project management and support services for capital projects and plant modifications.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Foster CEO Umberto della Sala said that long-term business relationships, such as the agreement with Borouge, would support his company’s “development of a sustainable operational presence in key markets in the Middle East, a strategically important region for Foster Wheeler.”
