SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its September butadiene (BD) contract price at $1,419/tonne (€1,050/tonne), up by $259/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Tuesday.

The producer’s contract settlement for August was $1,160/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC derives its monthly contract settlement price from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

On 27 September, BD spot prices averaged $1,485/tonne CFR (cost & freight) northeast (NE) Asia, up by 21% from end-August, ICIS data showed.
