HOUSTON (ICIS)--Agrium has completed the acquisition of Viterra’s retail assets, the Canada-based fertilizer producer announced on Tuesday.
Agrium estimated that the purchase price was about Canadian dollars (C$) 300m ($291m, €215m).The acquisition includes 210 retail stores across western Canada, and these holdings will be joined by the 13 Viterra locations in Australia, which were previously purchased in June.
Currently Agrium operates over 1,200 retail facilities across the US, Australia, Argentina and Canada.
