SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Daqing Refining & Chemicals on 8 October restarted its 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Heilongjiang province, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The PP plant was shut on 22 September for maintenance, the source said, adding that the unit is currently producing PP raffia yarn following the restart.

The company’s other 300,000 tonne/year PP unit at the same site has switched to producing PP injection from PP yarn, the source added.
