SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI) is targeting to restart its idled aromatics facility in Tuban next month, a source familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
“The company will most likely restart the facility in the first half of November,” the source said.
The facility, which can produce 550,000 tonnes/year of paraxylene (PX) and 360,000 tonnes/year of benzene, has not been operating since end-2011.
TPPI initially planned to restart the units in mid- to end-November this year.
