SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Air Liquide’s adjusted group revenue rose 5.1% year on year to €3.77bn ($5.2bn) in the third quarter of this year, supported by improved sales at its gas and services business segment, the French firm said on Thursday.

“Our performance this quarter is in line with the positive trend observed since the
beginning of the year, driven by our healthcare activity, the dynamism in the Americas and Eastern Europe, as well as an improvement in Japan and in Electronics,” said Benoit Potier, chairman and CEO of Air Liquide Group.
“Barring a degradation of the environment, Air Liquide is confident in its ability to deliver another year of net profit growth in 2013,” he added.
