US ethylene margins rise slightly, remain near 14-month low
US ethylene margins moved up 0.2% week on week for the week ended 18 October, the ICIS margin report showed on Monday.

US spot styrene prices are close to falling below 70 cents/lb
Prompt month US styrene spot prices were close to moving below the 70 cent/lb ($1,543/tonne, €1,126/tonne), following the decline in feedstock benzene prices, trade sources said on Monday.

US DuPont Q3 net income soars as sales rise 4.7%
US chemicals producer DuPont announced on Tuesday that its net income for the third quarter of 2013 soared to $285m (€208m), from $5m in same quarter last year, on higher earnings from its Performance Materials, Electronics & Communications and Safety & Protection segments.

US October epoxy resin contracts fall 2.1% on long supply
US October epoxy resin contract prices fell by 2.1% on Tuesday, tracking long supply from domestic and import sellers.
