Thailand's PTTEP Q3 net profit slips 1% on higher expenses

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) posted on Wednesday a 1% year-on-year drop in its third-quarter net profit at $566m (€419m), partly weighed by higher expenses.

The company’s overall revenues rose by 1.15% year on year to $1.84bn, while its operating income was down by 0.94% at $845m, it said in a statement.

PTTEP’s overall expenses rose by 3% year on year to $996m in the third quarter.

In January-September this year, the company’s net profit rose by 15% year on year to $1.61bn.
