SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Nan Ya Plastics on 5 November restarted its 360,000 tonne/year No 1 MEG unit in Mailiao on 5 November following a month-long turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The company now plans to shut its 360,000 tonne/year No 3 MEG unit at the same site on 14-15 November for a turnaround, according to the source.

The planned maintenance shutdowns at the two MEG units were ordered by the local government, the source added.
