SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group (PCG) has restarted its 75,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Kerteh, Terengganu, over the weekend following regular maintenance, said an industry source familiar with the situation on Tuesday.
On-spec production of monoethanolamines (MEA) and diethanolamines (DEA) has been achieved, the source said.
The plant was taken off line on 1 September.
