HOUSTON (ICIS)--CITGO is still on schedule to start up its hydrocarbon solvents production units at its Lemont refinery in Illinois this week following a fire in late October, the producer said on Tuesday.
The company had said in a letter to customers last week that start-up of its hydrocarbon solvents units at had been delayed until the week of 11 November.
Besides refining crude oil into gasoline, the CITGO operation in the US Midwest also has a 65,000 tonne/year benzene production line and a 65,000 tonne/year toluene production line, according to ICIS plants and projects.
