SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PTT Global Chemical and Pertamina hope to formally sign a joint venture (JV) agreement on a planned petrochemical complex in Indonesia on 10 December, a source from Thai firm PTTGC said on Wednesday.
“Dec[ember]10 is ... a target date between Pertamina and PTTGC to sign [the] JV agreement about [the] world-scale petrochemical complex,” the source said.
Pertamina is Indonesia’s state-owned energy firm.
The two companies signed a heads of agreement on their proposed joint venture petrochemical complex on 1 April.
The project in Indonesia is expected to include a 1m tonne/year cracker that should start up by 2017.
