Poland’s LOTOS to add coker naphtha hydrotreater at Gdansk refinery

LONDON (ICIS)--Poland’s petroleum products firm Grupa LOTOS will install a new 152,000 tonne/year coker naphtha hydrotreater at its Gdanks refinery to produce naphtha for petrochemical use, French chemicals technology firm Axens said on Thursday.

Axens said it won a contract from LOTOS to provide its technology for the project. The contract is part of a development and modernisation programme of LOTOS’ Gdanks refinery, Axens added.

Financial details or timelines for the project’s completion were not disclosed.
