HOUSTON (ICIS)--A Schulman has named Pojhan Vahabi as general manager in charge its Turkey, Middle East and Africa division and Sandor Konya as its business unit leader for distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the company announced on Thursday.
"We are aggressively expanding our market position in Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, and Pojhan's efforts have played a key role in our success," said Heinrich Lingnau, the US-based compounder’s vice president and general manager for EMEA.
Of Konya, who is filling Vahabi’s previous role, Lingnau said: "Over the past 15 years, Sandor has been instrumental in building our business in Hungary and other countries in central and southeast Europe. His experience in the industry and knowledge of the EMEA markets will serve him well in his new role."
Both Konya and Vahabi will report directly to Lingnau.
