HOUSTON (ICIS)--US chemicals and materials firm PPG Industries on Friday officially opened a new facility for the production of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) materials at its site in ?xml:namespace>
“This investment furthers our commitment in this growing technology area and expands our partnership with Universal Display,” CEO Charles Bunch said.
“As the market demand for energy-efficient, high-performance OLED displays and lighting devices continues to grow, we are better prepared today to meet their needs,” Bunch added.
David Mustine, managing director for polymers and chemicals at development agency JobsOhio, added that the partnership between PPG and Universal Display connects two of the state's targeted sectors — advanced manufacturing and polymers — to further strengthen
