EU MEK exports fall 30% in Sept year on year – Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) exports from the EU to the rest of the world fell by 30% in September compared with the same month last year, according to data from statistics agency Eurostat on Monday.

In September, 1,724 tonnes of MEK were exported from the EU, compared with 2,464 tonnes exported in September last year.

Over the same period, imports of MEK into the EU fell 96% to 53 tonnes in September from 1,180 tonnes in the same month last year.
