South Korea’s YNCC settles Nov BD contract down by $136/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its November butadiene (BD) contract price at $1,524/tonne (€1,128/tonne), down by $136/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Thursday.

The producer’s contract settlement for October was $1,660/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC derives its monthly contract settlement price from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

On 29 November, BD spot prices averaged $1,525/tonne CFR (cost and freight) northeast (NE) Asia, down by 12% from 25 October, ICIS data showed.

On 25 October, BD spot prices averaged $1,720/tonne CFR NE Asia, according to ICIS.
