SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global is planning to take offline its 50,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Map Ta Phut starting from mid-January next year for maintenance, industry sources said on Tuesday.

The routine maintenance will last for three to four weeks, during which there will be a catalyst change in the unit, they added.

Currently, the plant is being operated at a capacity of 90% and above, the sources said.

PTT previously conducted maintenance at the unit in the first half of August.
