EU EDC exports fall in October, VCM imports, exports also down

LONDON (ICIS)--EU exports of ethylene dichloride (EDC) have dropped significantly year on year in October, according to data from the European statistics agency Eurostat on Thursday.

EU imports and exports of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) have also fallen over the same period.

EDC import volumes into the EU from the rest of the world remain negligible, according to Eurostat data.
