EU October LLDPE imports rise 17% year on year

LONDON (ICIS)--Imports of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) into the EU28 countries have increased 17% year on year according to data released from statistics agency Eurostat this week.

October 2013 imports were at 95,835 tonnes compared to 81,901 tonnes for the same month last year.

Exports from the EU28 were almost unchanged in terms of percentage increase compared to October 2012 levels.
