SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group (PCG) is currently operating its 75,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Kerteh, Terengganu, at 100% rate following a brief shutdown last month, said an industry source familiar with the situation on Thursday.
“[They are] running well,” said one source, referring to the facilities.
The cracker and other downstream units in the Kerteh complex were shut on 6 December because of a disruption in power supply. However, the cracker was restarted on 13 December and is now being operated at full capacity.
