South Korea's SKC to restart HPPO, PG units this week

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SKC is on schedule to restart its hydrogen peroxide to propylene oxide (HPPO) and propylene glycol (PG) units late this week after completing its maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

The units were taken off line since 16 January, according to the company source.

The source added that the HPPO unit has a production capacity of 130,000 tonnes/year, while the PG unit has production capacity totalling 100,000 tonnes/year.
