SINGAPORE (ICIS)--MEGlobal has rolled over $1,180/tonne as its Asian contract price (ACP) nomination for March monoethylene glycol (MEG), according to a company document obtained by ICIS late Wednesday.
“The March MEG ACP nomination will be at $1,180/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia to reflect the short-term supply and demand situation,” MEGlobal said in a note to clients.
The company is a joint venture between US-based Dow Chemical and Kuwait’s Petrochemical Industries Co.
Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical giant SABIC and Shell have yet to announce their March ACP nominations.
