SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Toray Plastics Malaysia restarted two of its acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) lines last week after maintenance, a source close to the company said.

The two lines, each with a capacity of 55,000 tonnes/year, were shut in mid-November last year for scheduled maintenance.

The company operates a total of six lines in Penang state for a total ABS output of 330,000 tonnes/year.

Other ABS producers in southeast Asia includes Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (IRPC) and Styrolution in Thailand.
