SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s BST Elastomers is running its 75,000 tonne/year styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) plant at Map Ta Phut in Rayong province at 100% capacity in March, a company source said on Tuesday.

“We have no plan to reduce the operating rate,” the source added. The Thai producer was running the SBR plant at full rate in February.

The Thai producer has no plans to shut down its SBR plant for a turnaround this year.
