South Korea's LG Chem buys 75,000 tonnes naphtha for H2 April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's LG Chem has bought 75,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery to Daesan and Yeosu in the second half of April, traders said on Thursday.

The deal for the cargoes was done at a premium of $8.50/tonne to CFR (cost & freight) Japan quotes, they said.

Previously, LG Chem bought two 25,000 tonne-naphtha cargoes for delivery in the second half of March, as well as in the first half of April.

The deal for the Yeosu-bound cargo, slated for delivery in the second half of March, was done at CFR Japan quotes plus $4.50/tonne. Meanwhile, the deal for the second cargo, for delivery to Daesan in the first half of April, was done at a premium of $6.00/tonne to CFR Japan quotes.
