LONDON (ICIS)--India's Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has awarded part of its 28 April tender for two 7,500-tonne (+/- 5%) ammonia cargoes for May and June arrival to local trader CIFC, a market source said on Monday.
The industrial group awarded CIFC at $535/tonne (cost & freight) for an Iranian ammonia cargo that will be delivered to Kochi, formerly Cochin, between 16 and 17 May on the LPG tanker Gas Cat.
FACT has yet to decide whether to award or scrap the second part of the tender, which was for a 7,500-tonne cargo for arrival between 11 and 15 June at the west coast port.
For the second parcel, CIFC offered at $545/tonne CFR, Transammonia (Trammo) at $565/tonne CFR and Muntajat at $566/tonne CFR.
