SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan will shutdown its 160,000 bbl/day refinery in Hokkaido in the middle of June for scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company source said on Monday.
The refinery is expected to be restarted a month later in in mid July, the source said, adding that exact dates for the turnaround are not immediately available.
Idemitsu operates three refineries in Japan with a combined capacity of 555,000 bbl/day.
The Hokkaido refinery supplies oil products to Hokkaido and the northeast region of the main Japanese island of Honshu.
