LONDON (CNI)--StoHaas Monomer has successfully restarted one of
its acrylic acid lines at its Marl plant in Germany, a spokesman
for the German producer confirmed on Tuesday.
One of the three lines at the plant was brought back onstream on
Friday and is now running at normal rates, he said. The line was
closed last month due to technical difficulties. Capacity details
were not divulged.
The spokesman added that customer deliveries had been slightly
affected but there were no major shortages.
StoHaas Monomer is a joint venture between Degussa subsidiary
Stockhausen and US firm Rohm & Haas.
