SINGAPORE (ICIS)–China’s Qingdao Lidong Chemical does not plan to conduct maintenance at its 270,000 tonne/year benzene and 800,000 tonne/year paraxylene (PX) units at Qingdao, Shandong province, during 2015, a company source said on Monday.
“Both facilities are running well now after restarting in mid-July,” the source said.
The producer’s benzene facility is running at above 90%, while its PX plant is operating at 100%, the source said.
