Dean Curtis
CEO/MD
Dean Curtis is CEO/MD of ICIS. A seasoned business leader, Dean has extensive experience in building high-performing, diverse teams and is committed to making the world a better place utilising data and technology.
Dean previously held the position of Managing Director of LexisNexis Risk Solutions UK, and was responsible for the international expansion and growth of the Risk business across the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions within the group.
Before joining RELX in January 2014, Dean was VP, Global Business Director at Thomson Reuters and Managing Director at Wolters Kluwer. In these roles Dean built global teams to successfully establish market leading businesses, using next generation data, analytics and technology in order to improve customer outcomes by making the best business decisions. Most importantly of all, this is driven by culture as a differentiator.
Prior to this, Dean worked in Asset Management and Private Client businesses at Investec, HSBC Investment Bank and Rothschilds and had a spell in Private Equity. is an advisor to two other businesses and also has a background in professional sport which shapes his leadership philosophy.
Alison Jones
Chief Strategy Officer
Alison joined ICIS in 2020 after 18 years at Bloomberg, where she ran the investment research business. At ICIS she plays significant role in championing the business’ purpose and leading its long-term growth Strategy.
Alison is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. She has previously represented Bloomberg on the board of the London Women’s Forum (a network of senior women within the financial services industry) and is an executive sponsor of the RELX Menopause Employee Resource Group. Alison loves trying to keep fit (running, cycling and Pilates) when she gets the chance, given her second job as a taxi service to her two children.
Dorota Tsatsaris
VP of Technology
Dorota joined ICIS in 2011 after several years in technology-focused functions across companies including AOL and Accenture. Dorota is a committed technology leader focused on driving change and transformation and is always looking to see better usage of new technology for customers.
Dorota is a passionate mentor and supporter of young professionals and Women in Technology. She loves going shopping with her daughters, going to the pub with friends and listening to podcasts on topics from the latest tech trends and health research, to geopolitics and philosophy.
Ashley Sheinwald
Chief Experience Officer
As Chief Experience Officer, Ashley oversees brand, marketing, customer success, research and design, ensuring seamless interactions across all touchpoints and a customer-centric approach to creating meaningful, impactful experiences.
With over 25 years’ experience in technology, strategy and design, Ashley is passionate about breaking down silos to drive innovation and elevate customer engagement. He has a passion for travel and immersing himself in new cultures, landscapes, art and cuisine. He combines this with his love for Formula 1, hosting themed Grand Prix food excursions each Sunday with his daughters, inspired by that week’s race location.
Feroze Khan
Director, Finance
Feroze oversees the financial operations of ICIS as well as setting and defining the business’ long-term financial objectives.
Feroze joined ICIS in 2019 after training with accountants Ernst & Young in London, where he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW).
Feroze moved to London from Pakistan in 2011, to study. He is an avid Liverpool supporter and is often to be found in London stadiums when his beloved club is in town.
Elizabeth (Liz) Hofman
VP & Lead Counsel
Liz joined RELX in 2018 as the legal business partner for XpertHR, and became part of the ICIS executive committee in 2024.
In her role, Liz seeks to foster collaboration between the legal team and the businesses within LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, to ensure alignment of business and legal strategies as part of the wider legal function.
Liz began her legal career as a merger and acquisition lawyer in private practice and spent seven years in legal roles at Thomson Reuters prior to joining RELX.
Ashley Byford-Bates
Chief Content Officer
Ashley joined ICIS in 2016 after spending three years at Reuters, leading Product and Strategy. He is a problem solver and mentor, with a passion for Product and innovation.
He is a keen photographer and loves cycling and paddle boarding. Ashley is also a former member of the Territorial Army. What gets him out of bed every morning? Usually, one of his four children demanding breakfast.
