Poliom shut PP production

MOSCOW (MRC)--Poliom (joint venture of SIBUR and Gazprom Neft) shut down its polypropylene (PP) production for scheduled maintenance, according to ICIS-MRC Price report.

Market participants said that production at the 230,000 tonne/year plant was taken offline on Tuesday and is scheduled to be in shutdown for just over two weeks.

Scheduled turnaround at Ufaorgsintez is expected from 17 September for 12 days.

Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s 210,000 tonne/year plant is also expected to shut for approximately one week to carry out maintenance in late September.
