LONDON (ICIS)–The effects of the global coronoavirus pandemic are different on developing regions, such as Turkey and Africa.

Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) players are adapting to new trading conditions but the lack of a social safety net means extended lockdowns are unlikely.

The reliance on imported material and access to exports markets also contrasts Turkey and Africa’s experience to other regions.
