US PE margins up on falling ethane, rising co-products

HOUSTON (ICIS)–Integrated polyethylene (PE) contract margins rose during the past week on a 0.3% drop in ethane costs, the ICIS PE margin report showed on Monday.
Integrated contract margins increased by 0.19 cents/lb for low density PE (LDPE) and by 0.17 cents/lb for high density PE (HDPE), the report showed.
Average November margins rose 0.79 cents/lb over October, but remain the third lowest so far this year.
