SINGAPORE (ICIS)–China’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) film prices were stable on Tuesday amid limited trades, market sources said.

Prices were assessed at $1,100-1,180/tonne CFR (cost and freight) China, unchanged from Monday, according to ICIS data.

Most deals for September-loading cargoes had been done in the previous week, while a few deals by traders were concluded earlier in the week within the price range, market sources said.

A deal was done by a Chinese trader for a Middle East LLDPE cargo at $1,160/tonne CFR China.

Meanwhile, an offer for a Middle East LLDPE film cargo for September shipment at $1,195/tonne CFR China by another trader attracted little buying interest.
