VIDEO: Europe EGE supply becoming more balanced in Q2, PGE tightening

LONDON (ICIS)–Markets Reporter Eashani Chavda speaks to Senior Editor Melissa Bartlett about her outlook for the European ethylene glycol ether (EGE) and propylene glycol ether (PGE) markets during the second quarter of this year.

They discuss supply conditions for both markets and the impact recently imposed import tariffs on US exports to China will have on global trade flows.

Divided in E-series and P-series, depending on whether they are made from ethylene oxide (EO) or propylene oxide (PO), glycol ethers are mainly used as a solvent for domestic and industrial applications such as paints and coatings.
