Pembina Pipeline has agreed to acquire Inter
Pipeline, creating an energy infrastructure and
petrochemicals firm with a pro forma enterprise

companies said a joint statement on Tuesday.

refinery
US refiner Ergon declared force majeure at its
Newell, West Virginia, refinery following a
fire over the weekend that is expected to have
an immediate impact downstream.
Canada’s Brookfield raises hostile bid in fight
for Inter Pipeline
Canada’s Brookfield Infrastructure has raised
its hostile bid for midstream energy and
petrochemicals company Inter Pipeline (IPL) to
Canadian dollar (C$) 19.75/share
($16.46/share).
