Jordan’s Manaseer Group plans potash-phosphate complex

LONDON (ICIS)–Jordan’s Manaseer Group is planning a greenfield integrated potash and phosphate fertilizer complex in Jordan, Australia-based engineer WorleyParsons said on Friday.

WorleyParsons won a contract to provide project management consulting for the complex, it disclosed in a regulatory filing.

Under the contract, WorleyParsons will supervise the selection and delivery of engineering, procurement and construction services from the design and procurement stages to the construction and commissioning stages over a three year period.

Details about the project’s costs, capacities or timelines for completion and start-up were not disclosed.

Manaseer is a large Jordanian industrial group with operations in carbonate, cement and concrete, and iron and steel, among other sectors.
