BLOG: China moves toward commodity grade PE self-sufficiency by ’25

More than 10 new naphtha crackers are being planned in China for start-up from 2019 onwards as the focus switches away from coal-to-olefins. The end-result could be China being close to polyethylene commodity grade self-sufficiency by 2025.
