ICIS is implementing a process of rolling consultation on all of its methodologies. This consultation paper is part of this formal process and covers all of the ICIS primary price points included in the hexane weekly publications.
The consultation asks both general questions about the suitability of the ICIS methodology and questions addressing specific hexane market issues.

Summary of responses
There was one formal response to consultation GMC 26/15, in which the respondent requested anonymity.
The response requested isohexane coverage in Asia Pacific. ICIS will survey the market to see whether these proposals have any support within the wider market.
ICIS Decision
ICIS will not be proposing any immediate changes to the methodology of the hexane report. Any decision to change this methodology will be communicated to subscribers using the usual channels and with the usual notice period.
ICIS continues to welcome any feedback on its hexane methodology outside of the formal consultation process.
