The ICIS CEO of the Year Award is a peer-voted award for which the shortlist is this year’s ICIS Top 40 Power Players Ranking, which was released in January 2023.
The 40 leaders included in the ranking are invited to rank their top 3 leaders from the other 39 individuals included in the list of 40. They were asked to cast their votes, by anonymous ballot, based on newsworthy achievements in any of the following categories:
- Profitability/shareholder value
- ESG (environmental, social, governance)
- Innovation – technology, product, business process
- M&A/Projects
