SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Click here to see the latest blog post on Asian Chemical Connections. The collapse of crude prices in 2014 came at a great time for the Asian steam cracker industry as it occurred at a time when polyethylene (PE) supply and demand balances were tight, enabling PE producers to hold on very well to PE pricing as naphtha feedstock costs. Next year could be different.
