SINGAPORE (ICIS)–China-origin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle grade resin offers were stable to soft week on week.

The recent heavy rains and floods in south and east China led to cooler temperature and some transport obstruction slowed down the China domestic demand and offtake rate for PET cargo.

Coupled with the flat spot demand lately, some Chinese producers lowered their offers, while others continued to hold offers stable.

Spot offers were heard at around $665-685/tonne FOB (free on board) China.
