Price & market indicators
Shortages of material mean that grades suitable for packaging applications are regularly trading above virgin values. Upstream movements have largely decoupled from recycling values for these chains. At the same time, non-packaging applications are heavily purchased based on cost. Waste bale and recycled material quality varies, add underlying volatility.
